Died: Aug 12 in Skokie Valley Community Hospital.
Employment: co-founder in 1928 of the Wm. H Hough Co., which later became Central Solvents and Chemical Co. President of the company from 1948 until his retirement in 1961. Member of the Paint, Varnish, and Lacquer Assn., the Chicago Athletic Club, and the North Shore Country Club. Also belonged to the Village Church of Northbrook.
Survived by: wife, the former Marguerite Wieland; a daughter, Mrs. John J. (Virginia) Dugan of 2660 Appletree Ln., Northbrook; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Dr. David Glenn Walker conducted memorial services Aug 20 at the Village Church. Arrangements handled by the William H. Scott Funeral Home, Glenview.
