NOTICE is hereby given that sealed bids will be received for the construc- tion of the following improvement: For the improvement of Garland Avenue from and connecting with the present pavement in Church Road to and connecting with the present pave- ment in Forest Street, by paving with brick on a concrete base a roadway nineteen (19) feet wide, except at curb corners, where the pavement shall be widened along curved lines of twenty (20) feet radii over all, in- cluding all excavation, grading, prepa- ration of sub-grade, curing and pro- tecting pavement during construction, constructing new catch basins, includ- ing sewer connections, and connect- ing the proposed pavement with the covers and walk approaches, in the Village of Winnetka, County of Cook and State of Illinois, otherwise known as Winnetka Special Assessment No. 260, in accordance with the ordinance heretofore passed therefor, will be re- ceived by the Board of Local Improve- ments of the Village of Winnetka by or before 8 o'clock p. m., on Tuesday, | the third day of April, 1917, at which hour all the bids will be opened at al meeting to be held in the Council Chambers of the Village Hall, in the] said Village of Winnetka, Cook Coun- | ty, Illinois.
