As chairman of the Visiting Nurse Your Car Needed For Convalescents Men at Fort Sheridan get mighty weary of staying around the hospital grounds. at the army post. Conse- quently several Winnetka women have agreed to secure automobiles to take these men on afternoon drives. Friday is Winnetka Day in this service. B. Thomas has volunteered to get the cars to go to Fort Sheridan at 1;30 o'clock and take loads of con- valescents for a drive. Winnetka has been sending from seven to twelve cars to the fort each Friday, but more cars are needed. The Talk will keep this subject constantly before the public of Win- netka so that Mrs. Thomas may be assured of the necessary number of cars for this splendid service. With hundreds of cars in Winnetka it is considered an easy matter to provide at least twenty cars for this work every Friday afternoon. You may step to your telephone now and register your car and per- sonal services with Mrs. Thomas by calling Winnetka 794. Since last March Mrs. Fred | FRANK O.
