WINNETKA WEEKLY TALK, SATURDAY, MAY 1, 1920 3 | i | { | A Last Word --and a Warning T school question has been before the Village so long as to bring out every reasonable objection or criticism of the Board of Education plan. This plan, we believe, has stood the test and now commands the complete support of the large majority who have faced the situation fairly and without prejudice. The case for the West Elm St. site rests on principles and facts already presented in time for thoughtful consideration and criticism. The case for the Horace Mann site has been supported by many statements which have not stood examination and by misleading quotations. Tt is proper that we should be on guard against any last minute statements or quotations which there will not be even the opportunity to examine or correct before the Referendum. We are ready for the vote, confident that the people will vin- dicate the Board of Education by a large majority. EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF "COMMITTEE OF 500" George D. Wolf, Chairman William E.
