This remarkable economy record was made on April 20. The day be- fore the Willys-Overland company sent this telegram to dealers in these 97 representative cities: "Drain gas- oline tank of Overland Sedan, fill it with an exact gallon of gasoline; drive car until it stops and wire mile- age to factory." car and driven over country roads. Minnesota, 21.7 miles on rough country roads. North Dakota, 28.8 miles with a Sedan that had been driven several thousands of miles in demonstrations. Nebraska, 22 miles. Towa, 32.6 miles with a Sedan that had been driven 5,000 miles in country travel. Wisconsin, 25.1 miles. West and Pacific Coast: Colorado, 22.22 miles over rocky roads swept by the recent blizzard.
