McDonald, automobile dis- tributor with headquarters in the North Shore hotel, Evanston, an- nounced this week that he had been appointed north shore dealer for Dodge Brothers' motor cars. This is considered one of the most import- ant automobile dealerships in the local territory. An important factor entering into his appointment lay in the fact that he is equipped to give adequate service on Dodge cars. His service station at Davis street and Elm- wood avenue, Evanston, will be used for this purpose. His announcement includes the explanation that he will give service at this station not only to those who buy Dodge cars from him, but also to all present owners of Dodge cars. In a survey of the automobile situ- | ation on the north shore made early this year by the Evanston News-in- dex working in conjunction with the police department, it was ascertain- ed that there aremore Dodgecarshere than of any other one make with the exception of Fords, which are the most numerous.
