WINNETKA WEEKLY TALK, SATURDAY, JANUARY 28, 1922 : 3 PRESBYTERIAN HOME 10 GOMPLETE FUNDS Seeks to Raise Remainder of $800,000 Directors of the Presbyterian home are seeking to raise $800,000 as pro- vided for in the plans for the new main building, which will be ready for occupancy April 1, it was announced today. Funds are also being raised for the endowment for the hom«, which will provide for operating expenses. The endowment is to supplement the contributions of the churches and indi- viduals. Construction of the main building is proceeding steadily despite the weather. There is a sufficient force of workmen in the different trades. The steel framework of the roof is all in place, and the pyro-bar base has been set, ready for the green tile. He proposes to conduct a shop similar to the best in Chicago, with moderate prices. The stock of the French shop has been sold, and shipments to complete an entire new stock are arriving daily. Just as soon as the store is furnished completely, Mr. Lewis will announce a formal opening. In the meantime, Lewis Incorporated is open for busi- ness.
