LOUEN Sales Manager Phone Evanston 4884 I, in my business, like you in yours, have seen Branch Managers, Salesmen, Dealers Some failed thru lack of proper financing; others, unsophisticated in business ethics, bnew nothing of co-operation; some did not realize that the buyer expects "Service" as well as "Product" and for which they spend their money. It is with unalloyed pride that I can name more than 2000 car-owner friends along the North Shore who purchase cars from me, knowing it is my intention and custom to serve and satisfy their every desire in both Car and Service. My business has been built, Not with shrewdness, misrepresentation or questionable ad- vertising, bul by Honesty, Fair Dealing and Service. HAND Primary Election Ap JAMES HARPER MICHAEL SCHIESSLE GERTRUDE C. LIEBER ril 11, 1922 HOWARD P. ROE VOTE FOR ALL FIVE---PRIMARIES APRIL 11, 1922 IE favor a conservative and business-like \X/ handling of all matters that come under the jurisdiction of the County Commission- ers to the end that taxes may be reduced and the County still be given better and more efficient service. Much of the increased taxation is due to careless handling of the payrolls of the County for political and other purposes. In order that the taxpayers may be relieved of all unjust burdens we favor a careful supervision and frequent auditing of all County payrolls. We favor a strict enforcement of the Civil Ser- vice Law and its extension to cover County offices. We favor and recommend the prompt extension of hard roads throughout the County and the care- ful maintenance and upkeep of such roads as are already built. We feel that the great Forest Preserve project which is so vitally necessary to the health and happiness of this densely populated community, is far too sacred a trust to be used as a political trading ground or to further the personal or poli- tical ends of seekers for public office. The Forest Preserve is intended as a place of recreation for all who wish to enjoy it and it should be so guard- ed and administered as to leave no doubt that its original purpose is being fully carried out. We favor active co-operation with the Trustees of the Drainage District and all others interested, to rid the Des Plaines River of sewage pollution and the whole Des Plaines valley of the mosquito pest. We stand for the efficient administration of all the great humanitarian and protective institutions of Cook County which are for the poor, the sick, the helpless, the delinquent and the aged. We believe in a modern, sanitary and adequate jail to properly house those awaiting trial. We heartily sympathize with the returned Ser- vice Men and believe the County should do all in its power to aid them in securing proper employ- ment.
