2 COUNTY FAIR TO AID SETTLEMENT Winnetka and Evanston Groups Behind N. U. Settlement Benefit STAGED THIS JUNE Patten Gymnasium to be Scene of Bazaar On June 19, 20 and 21 a County Fair will be held in the Patten gymnasium, Evanston, for the benefit of the North- western University Settlement, under the auspices of the Evanston and Winnetka Women's boards. Three years ago, 'in. 1921, -a .similar affair was given for charity, and proved a great success, with a daily attendance of 6,000 and a net profit of $24,000. This year there are elaborate plans under way to make this affair even more of a success than the last one, and both the Evanston and Winnetka women interested are enthusiastically cooperating in this undertaking and are putting forth every effort for this purpose. The work will be entirely divided among the several committees, of which there will be an Evanston and Winnetka co-chairman for each committee. The Executive Committee in charge is composed of Mrs. Rollin W. Keyes, Mrs. Daniel H. Burnham, Jr.,, and Mrs. Donald Dallas. - Interesting Exhibits It is planned to have many at- tractive and interesting exhibits from the different shops in Evanston and from those firms who are advertising nationally. They are the advance guard in the struggle for an enlightened Christian civilization.
