Moore residence, 531 Washington avenue, Wilmette, Satur- day evening, January 31, when Miss Dorothy Dean, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Warren Dean of Morris- town, N. J., became the bride of Har- old E. Moore. Dr. Hubert Carleton of St. Augustine's Episcopal church read the service at 8:30 o'clock in the presence of the immediate families and a few intimate friends. A supper was served after the ceremony. The bride wore a gown of net and filet over a slip of crepe de chine and lace, and her veil of tulle was held to her head with a band of pearls. 3ride's roses and lilies-of-th-valley formed her bouquet. Mrs. Harris L. Baker, Jr. of Glencoe, her matron of honor, her classmate at Bradford academy, was attired in orchid panne velvet and carried pink sweet peas. Another school friend, Miss FEliza- beth Merril of Evanston, played dur- ing the ceremony. William S. Moore, IT was the little ring bearer, and the brigegroom's father served as his best man. Mr. and Mrs. Moore will be at home after February 10 at Noblesville, Ind. where Mr. Moore has taken a posi- tion. An interesting letter from Mrs. Maculey, who is now in Rome, was read to the club and a program of considerable merit was given by the following members: Mrs. MacShane and Mrs. Akley played four hand selections in a very artis- tic manner. Mrs. MacShane also played a beautiful suite composed by Surkow Ryder and dedicated to Mrs. MacShane. Mrs. Dazev of Madison, Wis., Mrs. Coards, Mrs. Sherman. Mrs. Seaver and Dorothy Rae gave the vocal part of the program, and as always afforded great pleasure and showed fine musicianship.
