WINNETKA WEEKLY TALK, SATURDAY, APRIL 18, 1925 | 19 Pine Street Circle Will Hold Novel Entertainment FA \HE Pine Street circle is sponsor- ing a rather unique affair on Wednesday next for the bene- fit of its charity, the Lake Bluff Orphanage, in which the members have been interested for the past two years. On April 23, the four follow- ing circle members will open their homes for different forms of enter- tainment: Mrs. Fred Gillette of 1103 Spruce street, will be hostess at bridge, while Mrs. Chester Van Buskirk of 1096 Spruce street, will entertain at five hundred; Mrs. David R. Kenni- cott, 1111 Spruce street, will have a musicale, and Mrs. Frank Dillion, 1108 Spruce street, will turn her residence into a dainty tea shop. Guests will be most welcome at this affair. el Mrs. Harry Lay of 1408 Edgewood lane entertained eight little friends of her granddaughter, Jean Louise Lay, on Friday of last week at a picnic luncheon in the woods. This was the first of the balmy days to be taken advantage of for a frolic for the little folk. Lyman Newell is very ill at the home of his daughter, Mrs. C. A. Busick of 1408 Asburv avenue, Hubbard Woods. Mr. Newell, who has made his home with his daughter for three years, has many friends in the village. He is a Civil War veteran. ---- Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Baugh of Ash street were most pleasantly surprised last Saturday evening by a group of friends dropping in for an evening of bridge and a "farewell," as the Baughs are leaving today for their new home in La Grange. --Q-- Mr. and Mrs. F. O. Neubacher of Walden road will be guests of honor at a dinner on Friday evening next given by Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hill of Austin, at the La Salle hotel.
