Kenilworth Happenings 5 eames oo A charming party had its setting at the Westmoreland Golf club on Satur- day evening when Miss Betty Nellegar and Stephen and Jacqueline Hawxhurst entertained several scores of their young friends at a dinner and dance. A five piece orchestra played merrily through the evening and the young folk disported themselves in the carefree fashion of 12 year olds. From the standpoint of onlooker and partici- pator it was one of the most enjoyable parties of the season. --_--Q-- June 24, has been set as the date for the departure of Miss Cornelia and Margaret Keith, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Keith, 310 Warwick road, for Montreal, Canada, where they will set sail on the 26th., for a summer tour of Furope. At the same time, the Keith family, who enjoy setting out on jour- neys as well as anyone outside of story books, will decamp for their delight- ful northern retreat at Big Lake, Wis. (Ra) Mrs. Otto M. Ruth and Mrs. Harold McKenzie gave a luncheon today in honor of Miss Helen Thompson whose marriage to Stanley Wisdom of Win- netka, will take place June 20. Mrs. Walter F. Shattuck, 338 Kenil- worth avenue, returned Sunday from Noblesville, Ind., where she was the guest at a house party and reunion of her former classmates. She, together with Miss Miriam Shattuck and Walter Shattuck and Miss Emily Foresman will leave tomorrow to spend the sum- mer at their home in the north woods. CO Mrs. Harry Vissering of Kenilworth avenue, was hostess to the Home and Garden club on its Reciprocity day, Monday. The morning was spent mak- ing a tour of Kenilworth gardens and the afternoon was given over to an ad- dress by Mrs. Heald of Lake Forest on the subject of "Color in Gardens." Co Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ketcham were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gerould (Miss Mary Taylor) in Ard- more, Philadelphia, last week-end while enjoying a spring trip East. --O-- Mrs. George S.
