Burial was at Champaign, IIL He was connected with many state and national research bodies and was active in the promotion of the univer- sity educational policy as it stands to- day. Wadhbarne Takes Brief Rest Before Summer Work Carleton W. Washburne, superin- tendent of schools, left late this week to spend several days with his family at their summer home near Saugau- tuck, Mich. He later goes to Greeley, Colo., to give a special course of in- struction at the State Normal college in that city.
