WINNETKA WEEKLY TALK, SATURDAY, AUGUST 21, 1920 DANNEMARK STAMP GIVES GUARANTEE OF HIGH QUALITY The name "Dannemark" has been for many years associated with things electrical on the north shore. First it was the firm of A. H. Dannemark & Son, later the father gave up busi- ness worries and the son continued the progressive establishment under the present name, E. A. Dannemark Electric Shop. ' The Dannemark Electric Shop at 1155 Wilmette avenue, Wilmette, is established on twelve years of suc- cessful business on the north shore. It is the pioneer in the electrical line in Wilmette, and has achieved an enviable reputation. The fact that the elder Dannemark has been for several years electrical inspector for the village speaks well for the char- acter of workmanship accomplished under the Dannemark name. The firm today, in addition to its contract work, maintains in stock all the standard makes of electrical washing machines, ironers and vacu- um cleaners. Here one finds dis- played the Eden, A. B. C,, Thor and Crystal washing machines with all parts and appliances. The first named machine has been specialized in with the result that a record of 2500 sales has been established in eight years. The Sweeper-Vac car- pet cleaners have also figured promi- nently in the sales columns, together with the Simplex Ironer. The Sweep- er-Vac sweeper is of the latest ap- proved type with motor-driven brush controlled by worm gear drive. Dannemark carries a complete supply of electrical heating, lighting and other appliances, as well as a splendid variety of ornamental lamps and fixtures. 2 E. A. Dannemark has lived in Wil- mette for twenty years and is count- ed among the most progressive of the younger business men of the north shore. NEW UPHOLSTERING BUSINESS A new upholstering and furniture repair business has been established in Wilmette, conducted by Fred Nitto, formerly of the L. A. Perrault company. Nitto has taken a tem- porary location at 1204 Central ave- nue, where he already is conducting a good business. Nitto makes a sep- cialty of "made to order" mattresses, window shades and draperies. He has had several years' experience in the business. THE WAY THEY FEEL ABOUT IT Evidently Senator Harding and Governor Coolidge feel like fighting Cox.--The Pathfinder. Te OL (i L.C.
