Residence: Overlook Dr, Golf, Ill. native of the Norwood Park section of Chicago; he lived there at 5622 N. Newark before moving to Golf 20 years ago.
Died: Suffered a heart attack at his home in the early morning hours of May 7 and died soon afterward at Lutheran General Hospital.
Employment: lawyer.
Survived by: wife, Margaret, who grew up in Norwood Park as Margaret Crippen; daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Howard Pamelia, who teaches English in Nishinomiya, Japan; a son, William Howard, who lives with his wife and two children in Mundelein. A total of six grandchildren are among the survivors.
Funeral: Memorial services conducted on Saturday, May 10 at Scott Funeral Home, Glenview with the Rev. Robert Allward, pastor of the Glenview Community Church, officiating.
Cemetery: his ashes were interred in the Mausoleum at the St. Charles Cemetery in St. Charles, Ill., the following day.
