"We real- ize that there are apt to be instances of fraudulent practice in any state where the activity is as great as it is here. Just recently the Orlando Realty board was instrumental in breaking up a nation-wide wild-cat scheme in which misrepresentations were made by mail. In this case the Federal authorities were notified and took action." Along with the tremendous activity in real estate in Florida at this time there is a tremendous activity in the organization work of real estate boards, the state association points out. It cites the activity of its member boards in enforcing the realty dealers' code of ethics, and calls attention to the open- ing of an official machinery for public protection against unreliable real estate operators through the recently revised Florida real estate license law which went into effect September 30. Walter W. Rose, vice-president of the National Association of Real Es- tate boards and president of the Flor- ida Association of Real Estate boards, has been appointed by the Governor to head the State Brokers' Registra- tion board which will oversee adminis- ' SCHOOL SHOES DESIRABLE DARK CHOCOLATE WASHABLE ELKSKIN WILL WITHSTAND THE HARD KNOCKS OF SCHOOL DAYS Our selections are con- servatively smart and our efforts to properly fit the growing feet will convince you that our chief concern is with their appearance and comfort. Harbor craft shriek noisy, welcoming sig- nals. The incoming liner slowly finds her berth. They must journey many miles -- perhaps across the con- tinent--in order to get to the places and the people toward One Policy - which their thoughts reach out. But to these homing thoughts there is no barrier of distance. For America has a nation-wide communication agency that wipes out the miles as if by magic. In- stantly it puts the traveller re- turned in touch with those whose voices he yearns to hear.
