Montgomery, Mrs. Frank R. Greene, and Mrs. Arthur R. Dean are the Winnetka women in charge of ar- rangements for one of the large society events of the autumn season which is taking place Wednesday afternoon, November 4, at the residence of Mrs. William H. Nicholls of 660 Pine street. The occasion is the bridge party given for the benefit of the Park Ridge School for Girls. The proceeds from the affair will be directed into the $16,000 fund to endow the cottage built and equipped by the Chicago Woman's club. Scrubs With Gasoline; Firemen Get an Alarm Winnetka firemen were called out on three alarms during the past week, none of which resulted in very serious fires.
