22 WINNETKA TALK December 5, 1925 Realty Folk Foresee Biggest Convention at Tulsa Next Year Hotel reservations are already being made for delegates to the 1926 con- vention of the National Association of Real Estate boards in Tulsa, Okla- homa, June 7 to 1l. _ California Realty brokers, anticipa- ting the most widely attended con- vention of the national association, has planned a special train made f several sections and has made reser- vations for delegates. The California Real Estate associa- tion has sent messages to the Tulsa Real Estate board and the Oklahoma Real Estate association pledging its heartiest co-operation in arousing nation-wide interest and enthusiasm among member boards to attend. The Aniarillo, Texas, Real Estate hoard is already pledged to send its entire membership including their families and a big drum corps in an | antomobile caravan in order to keep | the attendance cup which was won by | this organization at the convention the National Association held in De- troit in 1925. The Tulsa board has already rented four large rooms in a downtown build- Ing as an office for the convention committee and a staff of stenographers has been engaged to handle the preli- minary correspondence. The commit- tee is planning to house and entertain at least 6,000 delegates. Interest in the convention is not confined to real es- tate interests in Tulsa but is felt bv men in many other lines of business as evidenced by the recent addition to the board of several hundred affiliated members who will further convention plans. Robert Kenyon has been appointed editor-in-chief and John Jewell has been named as business manager.
