The program, an oriental one, was beautifully carried out in every detail and enthusiastically received by the club members and guests. Two items of interest deserve special mention; first, Miss Estelle Swigart 'cellist, who has since been unanimously voted into the club as a member, and who is to be guest-artist with the Symphony Play- ers of Chicago in their March concert at New Trier high school, was guest artist on the program; second, a new member, Mrs. Alvene Resseguie, con- tralto, made her first appearance this season. Mrs. Resseguie, whose rich, beautiful voice is well known through- out Chicago, is to be the artist on the Lyon and Healy artist concerts to be given during the week of December 14, from 2 until 3 o'clock.
