LJ WINNETKA TALK December 5, 1925 a --O Elshuco Trio Will i Appear in Concert Sunday, December 6 Sunday afternoon, December 6, at 4 o'clock, in the assembly hall at Kenilworth, the famous Elshuco Trio of New York will give a recital under the auspices of the North Shore Cham- ber Music association. Those in charge of this notable event promise a pro- gram of marked interest and enjoy- ment. The most prominent member of this trio is William Willeke, one of the foremost cellists in America. For many years Willeke was a valued fac- tor in that most artistic of chamber music organizations, the Kneisel quartet. The quartet has now passed into musical history, but during its long and active life, it had no superi- or in its chosen field. Of this quartet Willeke was an important member. He was also for a time first cellist and assistant conductor of the New York Symphony orchestra. That he is a member of the Elshuco Trio speaks volumes for that trio's repu- tation and ability. The violinist of the trio is William Kroll, a player of techinical skill and refined feeling. Kroll received his training mostly with the great violin virtuoso and teacher, Henri Marteau. He also studied under Franz Kneisel. Kroll has given several successful re- citals in Aeolian Hall, New York. He has had much experience in the pres- entation of chamber music. Aurelio Giorni, Italian composer, is pianist with the trio. He is a graduate of the Academy of St. Cecilia in Rome, an institution whose musical standards are unrivalled. He has worked with the celebrated pianist, Busoni. His compositions place him in the front rank of modern Italian composers. Although most of those who attend these recitals hold season tickets, still tickets of admission to next Sunday's recital may be obtained at the door.
