ad December 19, 1925 WINNETKA TALK 35 Camp Fire's Sale Swells Treasury for Girls' Group The Camp Fire Girls' Food sale last Saturday morning in Community House proved a great success from every standpoint, it is reported. The many attractive and delicious things offered for sale were commented on most favorably by the judges' com- mittee, and the tempting wares were | sold out by noon. The girls were very enthusiastic over the experience and took much pride in arranging their tables in artistic fashion and in work- ing together in the selling. More than $63 was netted for their treasury, which insures the expense of beads and em- blems being taken care of for a few months. Mrs. Robert Brown of the Camp Fire council was general chair- man, assisted by Mrs. Wallace Rum- sey, Mrs. Hubbard Keenan, Mrs. Wil- liam A. Barr, Mrs. David Kennicott, Mrs. Arthur Cushman as pricing com- mittee; Miss Ruth Matz, Mrs. Dudley French and Mrs. John R. Montgomery as judging committee; Mrs. Thomas McLaren, cash table. It was a worthy and successful effort of the Camp Fire Girls, and concretely demonstrated two of their laws: Seek Beauty; Give Service.
