December 19, 1925 WINNETKA TALK STATIONS GET NAMES | Judges Announce Winners in Nort Shore Line Skokie Valley Route | Station Naming Contest Winners of the Chicago, Shore and Milwaukee railroad's con- | test to name new stations on its new | line, known as the Skokie Valley | line, were announced this week by the company. The names selected for the stations and the contest winners follow : Station 1--"Harmswoods"--Mrs. J. Arthur, 609 Woodbine avenue, Oak Park. Station 2--"Glenayre" -- Ogden A. Clemens, 8824 S. Loomis street. Station 3 -- "Wau-Bun" -- Bertha F. Gordon, 4385 Champlain avenue. Station 4 -- "Northbrook" -- North- Brook Civic Association. Station 5 -- "Woodridge" -- Mrs. Marjorie M. Weese, Kenilworth. Station 6-- "Briergate" --Bessie R. | Alexander, 234 Lee street, Evanston. | Station 7--"Highmoor"--Mrs. Ger- | trude C. Crane, Morton Grove. Station 8--"Sheridan Elms"--MTrs. | Belle Falwell, Milwaukee. Station 9--"Skokie Manor"--Miss Dorothy Shanderg. Each winners was presented with a check for $100. The contest started on December 1, and since that time more than 75,000 names had been received by the rail- road company. The judges were: D. H.
