A small Christmas tree was placed in the center of the table and a tiny Santa Claus with his bag beside him also figured in the decora- tions. The hostesses were Mrs. Robert Brown, Mrs. William Barr, Mrs. Lee Brantley and Mrs. Thomas Hearne. ENTERTAINS FOR GUESTS Mr. and Mrs. A. Ziesing, 125 Beach road, have as their holiday guests their son and daughter and their familes, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ziesing of Phila- delphia and Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Van Cleve and their small son, of Thompsonville, Mich. Mr. and Mrs. Ziesing entertained at a large dinner party Christmas day, and Wednesday, December 30, Mrs. Ziesing was hostess to 20 guests at a 1 o'clock luncheon and bridge for Mrs. Van Cleve and Mrs. Henry Ziesing. Mrs. Evelyn L. Brooke, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert J. Annual Meetings Feature Activity in Christ Church Annual meetings of various groups in the parish of Christ church are em- phasized in the announcement of church services and activities for the ensuing week. The announcement follows: The regular services will be held Sun- day, January 3, with Holy Communion in the chapel at 7:30 a. m., and Holy Communion with sermon at 11 a. m. in the church at Sheridan road and Hum- boldt avenue. The church school will convene at 9:30 and 11 a. m. in the Parish House. The church school choir will omit its rehearsal this Saturday. The Young People's Fellowship will have its annual meeting for the election of officers Sunday evening. Supper will be served at 6:30 o'clock. A large at- tendance is urged. The annual business meeting of the Woman's Guild and Auxiliary will be held Monday, January 4. Luncheon will be served at 12:30 o'clock. A New Year's Bunco party is to be held by the Evening Guild on the eve- ning of Thursday, January 7, at 8 o'clock. Mr. and Mrs. Alexander L. Levy and their two sons, Alexander, Jr. and Marcus, of 150 Park avenue, left Wed- nesday, December 23, to visit Wash- ington, D. C, and Atlantic City, and New York, to return in time for the boys to resume their school work. Os Mr. and Mrs. Walter E.
