There will also be prizes for the most unique costumes. Saturday, January 30, the adults will have their turn at masquerading on the ice for on that evening, there will be skating and tobogganing in cos- tume, followed by dancing in the club house and a buffet supper to wind up the evening. PLAYS FOR RADIO North shore radio listeners will have an opportunity to hear one of their own neighbors Friday evening, Jan- vary 15, at 9:40 o'clock when Mrs. Dwight C. Orcutt, will broadcast a group of piano selections from WMAQ located on the LaSalle hotel. * Mrs. A. J. Mitchell and son, Donald, 263 Woodlawn avenue, are leaving January 10 for Yakima, Wash., to visit her mother. Lake Forest scored a 3-to-0 victory over Highland | Park in the other clash. Plaving conditions were pour, both games being played in a Arizzling rain. The ice was soft and did not permit the piavers to show their best game. CHARLESTON AT CLUB Another surprise is in store for the members of the North Shore Dance club. The management has been fortunate in being able to secure some very unusual professional talent to give a demonstration of the Charleston at the next regular dancing party which is taking place at the Winnetka Masonic temple, Saturday evening, January 9. The auditing committee of the North Shore Catholic Woman's league met at the home of Mrs. David Hallinan, 1050 Spruce street, Wednesday, Jan- uary 6, at 2 o'clock, for the purpose of making the semi-audit of the club's books. ---- Miss Veda Henry of the faculty of the Columbia School of Music, who spent the holiday season at her home in Buffalo, returned this week to re- sume her work at the college. iC Mrs. E.
