Margaret Mercer Chooses Day for Her Wedding January 23 has been set as the day of the marriage of Miss Margaret Mercer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Mercer of 684 Pine street, to Daviess Pittman, Jr., of Detroit. The ceremony will take place at Christ church, Winnetka, at 4:30 o'clock. Miss Elsie Blatchford will be Miss Mercer's maid of honor, and the bridesmaids are to be Miss Pauline Rudolph and Miss Emelie Hoyt of Chi- cago. Townsend Copeland will serve as best man, and Melvin Veeder, Franklin Rudolph, and Louis Billings- lee of New York will usher.
