The latest film shown dealt with the history of the Pilgrim settlement at Plymouth. The original site of the Dearborn se- minary was at State and Washington street. It is the oldest school in Chicago. Among the Winnetka women at- tending as members of the alumnae association are Mrs. Robert Nicholas, who attended the seminary in its very early days, Mrs. Lucius Sherman, a student there in late years, and Mrs. William E. Elliott, Mrs. Raymond Dur- ham and Mrs. Charles Spencer Wil- liamson, (mother of Mrs. Carl Zeiss) who has been secretary of the associa- tion for many years past. Junior Leaguers Plan Special Entertainment The Evanston Junior league ball will be held at the Evanston Country club Tuesday evening, January 26. Mrs. Walter Rompel is chairman, Miss Mar- ian Dawes is in charge of the enter- tainment, Mrs. Charles G. Dawes, of tickets, Miss Betty Sherman, refresh- ments, and Miss Harriet Thorp, flow- ers and cigarets. Junior league members will provide special entertainment. Lows E. Til- den will play the accordion, and Hor- ton Fall, III, will clog. Supper will be served. C. OF C.
