July 17, 1926 WINNETKA TALK 9 Plays at Skokie Sunday Rudolph Reuter is one of the very few American pianists whose success has been as great in Europe as it is in this country. From season to season the number of his concert engagements has steadily grown, so that there is hardly a section of the United States where he has not successfully performed with a minimum of publicity. In this season (1925-26) Mr. Reuter is for the fifth time soloist with the Chicago Symphony orchestra, Frederick Stock, con- ducting. In Europe he played nine times with orchestras under various well- known conductors, in little more than a season, and each time received en- viable press comments. He was soloist at the Salzburg Festival in 1923. A brilliant interpreter of the most modern music, he is, at the same time an exponent of the classics in a manner that has won hearty praise from the critics here and abroad. He will inaugurate the series of musicales to be given at Skokie Country club with a program next Sunday, July 18.
