Lieber, 468 Ridge avenue, returned Tuesday, Au- gust 31, from an extended trip through the West. Mr. Lieber left on July 28, and drove to Denver, Col, where his son, Perry, had gone on a business trip. From there he visited Estes Park, joining Mrs. Lieber in Cheyenne, Wyo. Winnetka Boys Return From Month's Cruise Fuller Dean, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Dean, 411 Willow road, John McEwen, son of Mr. and Mrs. John McEwen, 808 Hill road, and Billy Mil- ler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wiiliam H. Miller, 660 Pine street, returned last Thursday from a month's cruise on the schooner, "Elizabeth," as the guests of Lynn A. Williams and his son, Lynn, 568 Ingleside park, Evans- ton. They touched the following ports in their cruise, Mackinac Island; Les Cheneaux islands; Deborah, Canada; Desbarats, Canada; and numerous ports in Lake Superior. The farthest north they went was Nipigon, where they found excellent fishing. The schooner sailed from and re- turned to its mooring in the Beimont harbor in Chicago. Mr. and Mrs. Mare Newman, for- merly of Winnetka, have left the North Shore hotel in Evanston, where they have been living, and have taken an apartment at 1318 Hyde Park boule- vard, Chicago. Margaret Newman, their daughter, has just returned from Camp Agawak, Minocqua, Wis., where she spent the summer as a counselor. She will enter as a freshman at the Chicago Normal School of Physical Education this fall. rr Mr. and Mrs. John P. Cochran, 370 Chestnut street, are taking an extend- ed trip through the Canadian Rockies to the west coast. They have included Lake Louise, Banff, Vancouver and Victoria in the trip, and expect to re- turn to Winnetka in about three weeks.
