The game, which was wit- nessed by a large crowd, was played on the soccer field, because the gridiron was in poor condition from the ex- cessive amount of rain. In the first quarter the Gray and Green warriors made two touch- downs but failed to score on kick for goal. At the end of the quarter the score was 12-0. In the second quarter Proviso scored twice and New Trier made a goal from field, leaving the score 15-12 in favor of New Trier at the end of the half.
