fa October 9, 1926 WINNETKA TALK = A Step Forward N order to serve adequately the rapidly de- veloping community living to the west of Winnetka, it has become necessary for us to acquire a large tract of land at Willow and Happ Roads, which will be used as a branch yard. T is not our purpose, however, to have a fleet of huge trucks wearing a beaten path through the heart of Winnetka from across the Skokie Valley. Our yards in Winnetka will be maintained as in the past to render prompt efficient service regardless of snow drifts or other adverse conditions that make deliveries from a distant yard doubtful if not impossible. ORK on this branch yard is progressing rapidly and we shall have it ready in a very short time. ay Winnetka Coal-Lumber Co. Phones Winnetka 734-35-36 --1 0 he Bi
