ig November 13, 1926 WINNETKA TALK 15 Mrs. Julia Risk and Miss Coryell Entertain Skokie Mrs. Julia Clay Risk entertained the Skokie assembly Friday with a group of folk songs and other selections. Miss Marian Coryell accompanied Mrs. Risk and played two charming pieces of her own composition. This week's musical program was an interesting variation of the talks of the last three assemblies. Mrs. Risk's selection of songs was as follows: two Russian numbers by Gretchaninoff; "Kasvor," Polish, by S. T. Niewiedomski; two old Japanese folk songs "The Cradle Song" and "Imayo," arranged by Yamada, aria by Mozart; two Indian songs, and "Corals" by Treharne. Miss Coryell's compositions were "Toccatina" and "largo." Arthur Fisher, son of Mrs. Walter Fisher who was on the program to speak Tuesday about Mexico, was the speaker for the preceding Tuesday. His subject was a canoe trip in Canada. Skokie school expresses appreciation of the excellent programs presented at the assembly twice a week for their enjoyment. Mrs. Francis O. North Shore College Man Victim of Auto Crash John Armstrong, son of Mrs. Frank Armstrong, of Evanston, and a brother of Horace Armstrong, 365 Sheridan road, Winnetka, died Sunday, Novem- ber 7 at Williamstown, Mass., where he was a student at Williams college. His death was due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident the Friday evening previous. Funeral services were conducted from the residence, 1030 Ridge avenue, Evanston, Tuesday afternoon at 2:30, by the Rev. David Hugh Jones, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, Ev- anston, and the Rev. Sidney E. Sweet, of Columbus, Ohio. Burial was at Rose- hill cemetery.
