New Way With Children Described in Lectures Frederick Pierce, research psycholo- gist of New York, who is to lecture in Evanston under the auspices of the Miller School Mother's club of Ev- anston, is finding his prophecies of five years ago coming true, in that the movement for serious analytical psychology has grown with tremen- dous speed. At first seized upon as a possible fad, it is now recognized as perhaps the most important develop- ment of all time in the effort to un- derstand the human mind. For several years Mr. Pierce has given five months annually to travel in Europe, studying at first hand the methods used there in his three branches of research: child psycholo- gy, psycho-analysis, and auto-sugges- tion. The recent findings of his re- search are of such vital importance that all parents, teachers, and physi- cians should be thoroughly informed as rapidly as possible. With this idea in mind, the Miller School Mother's club has secured Mr. Pierce for a series of six lectures on "The New Way with Children." These important lectures started at the Ev- anston Country club this week under the following schedule: Monday, November 8; Thursday, November 11; Monday, November 15; Thursday, November 18; Monday, November 22; Monday, November 29. Lectures are given at 10:30 a. m. Mr. Pierce will also give two lec- tures for adults on "The Releasing of Latent Power," and "Our Mental Re- lation to State and to God," at the Woman's Club of Evanston, 1702 Chi- cago avenue, at 8 p. m. on the evening of November 16 and November 24. Mrs. Ira C. Darling of 256 Kenil- worth. avenue, who has been spending two weeks in New York City, where she was visiting her sister, Mrs. More- head, returned to Kenilworth, Thurs- day, November 4.
