Fenton of Winnetka, October 15, at Indian Hill club, Miss Mary Louise Fenton made her bow to society. A dinner was given in the evening for the assisting debutantes and their escorts. Mrs. Martha Coleman Sherman, a former resident of Wilmette, who now makes her home in Denver, has been visiting friends on the north shore. Mrs. Carl Latham of Evanston enter- tained a few friends at an informal luncheon for her Tuesday of this week. Preceding the luncheon, Mrs. Sherman gave a reading of her own poem. Olympic--"She Couldn't Say No"-- Funny Florence Moore and several hundred laughs and wise cracks. Blackstone--"Honor of the Family"-- Otis Skinner in the revival of his best effort. Playhouse--"Alias the Deacon"--Com- edy making quite a hit. Woods -- "LeMaire's Affairs"--Sophie Tucker et al in elaborate but typical revue. --Thespian Mrs. Robert Keep Clark, 780 Lin- coln avenue, Winnetka, entertained the North Shore Oberlin Woman's club at tea at her house on Friday, No- vember 12.
