The two boys played on the football team last fall and have taken up the grap- pling game in earnest. Intense rivalry for physical suprem- acy instilled as only two brothers about the same age and size can instill it has resulted in a most spirited battle for first honors. They are the two leading candidates for the heavyweight division and are slated to meet each other in the All-University tournament to be held Saturday night, December 18. Ruddy, the younger of the two has had more experience at the sport but Al is determined that the "kid" brother is not to best him in anything like a wrestling match. Both tip the scales around 190 pounds and despite their size are able to handle themselves skillfully on the mat. Coach Orin Stuteville, the Purple's new grappling mentor has brought about a decided increase in interest in the sport this season and as a result there are more men out for the various divisions than ever before.
