Winnetka Members Active in Government Institute Several north shore women affiliated with the League of Women Voters are to have an active part in the Insti- tute of Government to be held Wed- nesday, Thursday and Friday, March 2, 3 and 4 at Harris hall, Northwestern university. The institute is to be con- ducted jointly by the university and the Illinois League of Women Voters. Among the presiding chairmen of the institute will be Mrs. John N. Vander- Vries, president of the Winnetka league. Others serving on committees are Mrs. Gross T. Williams, Mrs. J. J. Sampson, Mrs. Walter L. Benson, Mrs. F. A. Lackner, Mrs. Burton At- wood, Jr., Mrs. J. D. Wigglesworth, Mrs. W. P. Heyn, Mrs. Bligh D. Gras- sett, Mrs. R. S. Childs. Dr. Ralph B. Cobb Will Address Meeting Monday Dr. Ralph B. Cobb is to be the speaker at the February meeting of the I.eague of Women Voters on February 14, at Community house. Dr. Cobb has been Dr. I. E. Schmidt for a number of years. Dr. Schmidt is a professor of the Northwestern university Medical school and is probably one of the best known men in the country in his par- ticular line of work. Dr. Cobb has been superintendent of the Iroquois Memorial hospital for the last three years.
