A March 26, 1927 WINNETKA TALK Dr. Alfred Adler Addresses College Group Next Monday "Causes of Failure in Childhood and Later," was the subject chosen by Dr. Alfred Adler of Vienna for his lecture in Harrison hall, Evanston, on Mon- day evening, March 28, is one, it is said, on which he is extremely well qualified to speak after his years' of successful work along this line with children and adults. Vienna has an enviable reputation of being, not a city without problem children, but a city which is solving the problem of such children. Twenty- two clinics for the care of behavior problems have been established in the city under Dr. Adler's supervision, and the work of these clinics is supple- mented by that of the public school teachers, who are thoroughly in sym- pathy with the movement. Dr. Adler is'a professor in the Peda- gogical Institute of Vienna, practices psychotherapy, and came to America to compare and exchange experiences in his subject. He has lectured in many of the leading cities and univer- sities of Furope, and during his recent lectures in Chicago the attendance was so great that many were unable to hear him. The lecture in Evanston next Monday will be given under the auspices of the National Kindergarten and Elementary college, and tickets may be secured througli the college office.
