And, for Wau Bun, it will in reality be the first annual event of that na ture, but, the test next Tuesday promises to be as the hotly which too, nevertheless, con- spirited as any of several contested elections have been characterizing the selection of candi- dates in various north this spring. Wau Bun, at the time of its incor- | poration and organization as a village last summer, elected a president and six village trustees who were to serve only until this spring, at which time there was to be held the first election when a president would he chosen for a two year term, and six trustees. who would cast lots to deter- mine which three were to serve one year, each, and which three were to constitute the "hold-overs" for the two year term. Peter Selzer, W. R. Boetsch, and IL.eo Retzinger as trus- tees. Manv thines have been taking place out at Wau Bun the past few months, especially since the ertswhile flag sta- tion out on the Hiech Lire of North Western suddenly blossomed into an incorporated village on the new Skokie Valley Electric line; where farm acreage has suddenly been transformed into scores of fine build- ing sites overlooking the beautiful Skokie valley to the east, and where large business interests are already ex- pendine thousands of dollars in fuel and other supplv vards. Thus, wide and varving differences of opinion have arisen among members of the official family as to how the details of the future course of the growing Wau Bun should be conducted. Therefore, President Hann has headed the Citizen's party ticket for reelection, and has associated with him as candidates for trustees, John Seul, Henry Wahls, Fred Haut John Efflandt.
