Therrien, president and two candidates for trustee on the Progres sive ticket; one trustee, Bob Lauer, on the Citizens' ticket; annexed the United Realty company's sub-divi- sion north of Dundee road and on either side of the Skokie Valley line, and then voted not to exceed a two mill tax for a brass band, to celebrate this and other steps of progress which this village is making. As had previously been predicted, the Northbrook election was a hotly contested affair. The votes received by the several candidates follow: Progressive party--For president, Arthur J. Therrien, 242; for trustees, H. G. Kiest, 256; C. Neuman, 203; Emil Mueller, 240. Citizens' party--For president, John MacLachlan, 190; for trustees, R. [Lauer, 209; Joseph J. Kortman, 142; Alfred S. Krisor, 175. The band proposition carried 270 to 120 and the vote for the annexation of the new subdivision was 296 to 77. SEND EXHIBITS APRIL 27 Present and former residents of Wilmette desiring to exhibit in the an- nual Art exhibition under the auspices of the Woman's club of Wilmette are to have their works at the Woman's club April 27, the committee an- nounces.
