tv November 12, 1927 WINNETKA TALK 11 Hold Cook County Teacher's Institute in Evanston Monday The Winnetka and Glencoe schools will be closed next Monday in order that the teachers may attend the Cook County Teacher's institute which is to | be held at the new Haven school in Evanston. The meeting is held annually under the auspices of the Cook County | Teacher's association for the purpose of | discussing various problems that come up in school administration and curriculums and to give the teachers the opportuniiy of hearing prominent educators upon subjects of general interest. The program will start at 9:30 in the morning and will last until about 3 o'clock in the afternoon. The Haven school is located two blocks southwest of the Central street station of the Chicago and North Western and is situated on West Railroad, Lincoln and Prairie ave- nues. It is anticipated that about 500 teachers will be served in the school cafe- teria at the noon intermission and at that time motion pictures will also be shown in the school auditorium.
