W. Wortley as Chairman Camp Fire! Just what is Camp Fire? Can you imagine an organization more worthwhile than one that develops within the young girl the love of home, the out-of-doors, and teaches her to seek out the beautiful around her? Do you realize that Camp Fire actually accomplishes this by means of a sys- tem of honors in different crafts, stimulating these interests? Mrs. Eloise W. Wortley, chairman of Winnetka Camp Fire girls, is proud to announce that Winnetka has one of the largest organizations on the north shore, numbering nearly 100 girls, 6 guardians and 5 assistant guardians. Camp Fire has achieved a distinct ad- vantage in having Thursday afternoon after school set aside as Camp Fire Day and at that time meets at Com- munity House, its headquarters. Public Ceremony March 16 This month, Camp Fire will celebrate its sixteenth birthday! On the evening of March 16, in observance of the occasion, Winnetka Camp Fire Girls will give a program symbolic of the meaning of Camp Fire. More than twenty girls will appear on the stage at Community House to interpret to the public in song and motion, the out- standing aim in Camp Fire, "the culti- vation of girlhood to its uttermost good." "Camp Fire is not just for today nor for tomorrow, but for all the years to come. It is carried on after girls have outgrown Camp Fire age." 4 Year Old Daughter of Frank Baker Dies Word has been received of the death of Janet Baker, four year old daugh- ter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Baker of Brooklyn, N.
