Springer of Wilmette, Re- publican candidate for representative in the General Assembly, is closing his campaign with a final tour of the Seventh Senatorial district. "I have visited every section of the district," he said today, "and every- where I have been received most cor- dially. The indications all point to my nomination, but I want to urge my many loyal friends to use every effort to get out as large a vote as possible." He has been endorsed by the Legis- lative Voters league, which says of him: "Lewis B. Springer formerly served two terms in the house, during which he was successful in getting some im- portant legislation; was an active member who gave close attention to business and made a record of decided usefulness. Norlin, County Surveyor, Candidate for New Term Friends of Fred Norlin, member of the firm of Greeley-Howard-Norlin company, surveyors and engineers of Chicago pre- dict his re- nomination by a decided majority for a new term as county survey- or. Mr. Norlin is well known for his work, both in Chica- go and on the north shore. His record during his pre- vious term has won for him much praise from many quarters. Mr. Norlin receiv- ed a comfortable majority in 1924. Priscilla Guthrie is spending her Easter vacation with relatives in the East. This week she has been visiting her cousins, the Frederic C. Walcotts, of New York, at their country place in Norfolk, Conn. Next week she will spend in New York before returning to- Dwight school in Englewood, N. J. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John B.
