More than 85 children between the ages of 9 and 12 frolicked and presented special favor and figure dances. Kappa Alpha Thetas to Give Benefit April 18 The new Kappa Alpha Theta house on the Northwestern campus will bene- fit from a bridge to be given Wednes- day, April 18, at the Evanston Country club. More than 200 of' the 250 tables available have already been taken. Unusually attractive prizes are being offered. Those wishing tickets may get them at the Theta Book Shop in Evanston, from Mrs. Harold Boyle of Evanston, who has charge of the tickets, or from Mrs. L. E. Mitten, president of the Northwestern Theta alumnae, whose telephone is Winnetka 2168. Mrs. George Peaks of Evanston is in charge of the party. Jack Harrington, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Harrington or 500 Adams street, Glencoe, returned to St. John's Military academy last Monday, after spending a few days with his parents. RETURNS FROM EUROPE Miss Alice Channer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Stanton Channer of Glencoe and niece of Mr. and Mrs. Wyndham H. Channer of Winnetka, returned from England on the Beren- garia on March 28. She will spend a few days at Ogontz, from where she graduated last year, and visit Miss Sue Trimble of Pittsburgh before return- ing home. Miss Channer accompanied Mr. and Mrs. O. G. McCornack of De- troit, and their daughter, Miss Margo- rie, abroad, sailing for Naples on the Conte Biancamano on January 4. Betty Jane Weld, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Weld of 983 Vine street, celebrated her eighth birthday Tuesday by inviting ten of her little friends to a tea at her home, which was preceded by attending a moving picture show at Community House.
