They will visit France, Italy, Switzerland, Ger- many, Holland and England, Scotland and Ireland. IN RECENT PLAY Arthur McConnell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell McConnell of 972 Spruce street, who is a member of the student department of drama of the Kenneth Sawyer Goodman Memorial theater, was presented in the new modern adventure play, "The Boy Who Grew Up," by Louis Laflin, Jr, last Saturday. He took the part of Sam, the colored porter on the train, also the part of Kid Kildare, the owner of the paper stand. The play was produced under the direction of Muriel Brown. Civic Music Association in Festival This Sunday Of uncommon interest will be the festival which will be given by the Civic Music association of Chicago in Orchestra hall, Sunday afternoon, May 6, at 3:30 o'clock. A children's chorus, 1,000 voices strong, drawn from the association's classes in the parks and playgrounds of the city, will sing folk- songs, modern songs and a cantata under the direction of Felix Borowski. The Civic orchestra, which functions under the auspices of the Civic Music association and the Orchestral associa- tion, will be heard under the baton of Eric Del.amarter in Dvorak's "Carna- val" overture, the Ball Scene by May- seder-Hellmesberger, the arrangement of Schubert's "Moment Musical" made by Frederick Stock, musical director of the Civic orchestra, and in the French Military March from Saint- Saens' Algerian Suite.
