May 35, 1928 WINNETKA FALK 31 Wilmette Artist Designs Poster for World's Fair Charles A. Morgan, well known Chicago artist and architect, is again to be praised for his splendid art 'work. Mr. Morgan, a resident of Wil- mette, who has a studio at his home, and offices in the loop, recently de-: signed a poster for the Chicago 1933 World's Fair. The poster has been duplicated in thousands of prints, and many copies are to be seen throughout the loop, in department stores and of- fice buildings. The Morgan poster is being used as advance publicity material for the keenly anticipated World's Fair. The poster, which was done in colors, is a crayon drawing, depicting a huge arch through which are seen immense sky scrapers with masses of people in the streets, and speeding aeroplanes in the air above. Mr. Morgan is also known for his beautiful and colorful mosaics. Many of these grace the lobbies of Chicago's newest theaters and apartment hotels.
