26 : : WINNETKA: TALK June 23, 1928 St. Francis Grounds Turned to Carnival Place Let's get at the real truth about modern OIL HEAT By R. W. Lapham I 4 you knew a man who still doubted the value and happiness, for his family, in owning a car, you'd want to convince him. That's the way I feel about the comfort of modern oil heat in moder homes. You'd be amazed if you knew, as I know, how many families enjoy--every year-- the heating comfort you're hopin to have some day. Automatic oil heat does not cut heating bills in half. In most KLEEN-HEETed homes I know, heating bills are no higher than if good grade coal were burned; in some homes they're less. But, Man! The comfort enjoyed in a KLEEN-HEETed home just can't be compared with coal heat. Not even a millionaire, with all kinds of servants, can have finer heat. Automatic oil heat needs some atten- tion, of course. So does your radio set, or your car, or any other modern equipment your family enjoys. And KLEEN-HEET owners spend so little time, in this way, that it's negligible. Every year an amazing number of peo- ple decide in favor of this modern heat. They do it to get comfort you can't get in any other way. E'D like to give you some facts and figures--right now. Drop us a card, or telephone: Greenleaf 5120 or Winnetka 695. Kleen-Heet Factory Branch 705 Washington Street EVANSTON KLEEN-HEET whl (Photo by Bernie) Happy throngs of children and grownups surrounding gaily decked booths gave a festive atmosphere to the east grounds of St. Francis hospital Saturday afternoon. The occasion was the first annual festival of the St. Francis foundation. A glimpse of the festive scene is shown below, with the luncheon booth in the foreground. In the upper picture is seen the doll booth with some of the children who surrounded it all afternoon. This booth was in charge of Mrs. N. Picard and Mrs. R. J. Sackley, assisted by Mrs. George Picard, Shirley Cawkwell and Priscilla Jones.
