Beery and Hatton Come to Varsity Early Next Week "The whirlwind affairs of a high powered business man who favored blonde saleswomen" is the way the ad- vertiser describes the picture to be shown at the Varsity theater this Saturday. After a long lapse of time Bryant Washburn continues the ad- ventures of the movie-Skinner, and comes to the Varsity with Martha Sleeper and Hugh Trever in "Skin- ner's Big Idea." On Monday and Tuesday of next week the famous Wallace Beery-Ray- mond Hatton combination will enter- tain at the Varsity in "Partners in Crime." The two inseparable partners of the army, navy and air service dive into the underworld to dig up some new laughs and thrills. Beery is a detective who discovers more by acci- dent than a Scotland Yard man could by design. Hatton plays the double role of reporter and gang leader who are constantly mistaken for one an- other. In "The Beloved Rogue," to be shown at the Varsity next Wednesday, John Barrymore plays his role of a vagabond--Iloving, fighting, roving--as only John Barrymore could play it.
