Klock, general manager of the Met- ropolitan system. "We will continue to operate coaches over established routes on regular sched- ules as cross-country feeders to North Shore line trains," says General Manager Klock. "Bringing the coach lines under a centralized management will permit of operation such as should be of benefit to the users of coach service." The Metropolitan Motor Coach com- pany will extend its operations over twelve routes connecting north shore communities with resorts in the North- ern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin lake regions and communities to the west of the rail lines. The routes and communi- ties served are as follows: Kenosha, Twin Lakes, Powers Lake, Lake Geneva. Waukegan, Zion, Keno- sha. Waukegan, McHenry, Woodstock. Waukegan, Lake Villa, Antioch, Fox Lake. Libertyville Grays Lake, Lake Villa, Fox Lake. Highland Park, Lake Zurich, Wauconda. Highland Park, Deerfield, Northbrook. Wilmette, Glen- view, Techny. Niles Center, Wheeling. Niles Center, DesPlaines. Glencoe, Wheeling. Evanston, Niles Center. Connections with North Shore line trains are made by motor coaches at Kenosha, Waukegan, Highwood, High- land Park, Glencoe, Wilmette, and Ev- anston on the Shore Line route; at Niles Center terminal, Glenayre, Northbrook, Briergate and Highmoor on the Skokie Valley route, and at Libertyville ter- minal. North Shore Line stations serve as motor coach stations in these com- munities. Downtown terminals also are maintained at Kenosha, 616 Fifty-ninth street, and at Waukegan on County street south of Washington street. Mrs. W. R. English, 375 Hawthorne lane, and her daughter, Helen, re- turned on Monday evening, June 25, from a trip east. Mrs. English and her daughter, accompanied by Miss Cor- delia Lyons of Wheaton, motored to Princeton to join Robert English who will be a junior there next year. They toured New York, Newport, Syracuse, and other places of interest. Oe Mrs. Dorr C. Price, 661 Hill road, will leave on Monday, July 2, for a trip to Europe. Mrs. Price will sail from Quebec on July 4, and will spend five weeks visiting France, Italy, and Switzerland, returning to her Winnet- ka home in August.
