July 7, 1928 WINNETKA TALK Former Co-ed Hopes to Fly Atlantic on Her Honeymoon Trip In hope of being the first woman to span the Atlantic in the westward course, a Northwestern university co- ed of a year ago, Mrs. Murray Kan- gun, who was Bernadine Guttmann until recently, is in Paris planning to start her flight in the middle of this month. Her marriage to Lieut. Kangun of New York, whom she met on the boat while crossing to Europe with her mother, took place June 12 in the American consulate in Paris and the couple is planning to make the Atlan- tic flight their honeymoon. They will take off in Paris heading for New York. Lieut. Kangun, states Dr. M. Reese Guttmann of the staff of the North Chicago hospital, brother of the bride, is associated with Col. Charles Lind- bergh and Lieut. Johnson in the So- ciety for the Promotion of Aviation, which society has underwritten this flight. Lieut. Johnson and an English- man will be in the party with Lieut. and Mrs. Kangun.
