i. | July 7, 1928 WINNETKA TALK Kenilworth Happenings Junior Benson, Jack O'Connor, George Woodland, Tom and Jack Sinding, Tom White, Dick Joslin, Tom and Limus Smith and Bob Richard- son are among the many Kenilworth boys going to Wilfred L. Childs' camp, near Port Arthur, Canada. They left here Thursday, July 5, and expect to be gone all summer. --C-- Mrs. George D. Serrall of Riverside, Cal, is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Millington of 126 Oxford road. They have just returned from an extensive motor trip in eastern Canada, where they visited many of their old friends. Fa Mrs. Frank R. Fuller of Indian Hill has returned after an absence of ten months abroad. She traveled ex- tensively in Europe and has been studying at the Sorbonne for the last few months. ---- Miss Shirley Ross, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Ross of Kenilworth, entertained eight guests for luncheon and bridge in honor of Miss Harriet Bellamy of California, on Thursday, June 28. gr Mr. and Mrs. Wellton Stallsmith and family of Kenilworth, left last week for California. Mr. Stallsmith and John left early to go to Texas. Mrs. Stallsmith and Polly will join them there and then motor to California. ---- Miss Harriet Webster, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Webster of Kenil- worth, left last Saturday to visit Miss Margaret Smythe at her summer home in Portage, Mich. Harriet will be gone for a month. pL Dr. and Mrs. C. E. Geisse and their daughter, Mary Lou, 1820 Wilmette avenue, left Saturday to spend a week at Green Bay, Wis. Dr. Geisse ex- pects to return to Wilmette about July 9, but Mrs. Geisse and Mary Lou will probably remain there a while longer. --O Miss Marjorie Kittle of Indianapolis is visiting Miss Margaret Korrady, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Kor- rady of Kenilworth. Miss Kittle will be here indefinitely. The Korradys are occupying the Harry Harrison's home for the summer. --O-- Mrs. R. N. Baker, Mrs. A. J. Wood- cock, and Mrs. J. F. Kletzing returned to their homes in Wilmette June 28, after a few days' visit at the Hays' summer home near Benton Harbor, Mich. Oe Mr. and Mrs. Thomas White, and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Ross of Kenil- worth entertained thirty-two guests for a buffet dinner Wednesday evening at the Whites' home. --O-- The Charles H. Coppels of 1534 Washington avenue have had as their guests, the Misses Mary and Maurine Anderson of Kankakee, who are rela- tives of theirs. --Ce Mrs. Roy Osgood and family of Kenilworth, left recently for their sum- mer home in Maine. in Barrington. --e Miss Betty Marshall of 1040 Elm- wood avenue left Tuesday for a week's visit in Springfield, Ill. with a school- mate at Lasell seminary. --0-- Miss Winifred Adkins, 112 Central avenue, left Wilmette June 23, on the S. S. Paris, for a two months' trip to France and Spain. Miss Katherine Benson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Benson of Kenil- worth, left last Saturday for camp. She will be in Colorado until Septem- ber 1. ---- Mrs. Carol Ridgeway of California is visiting Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Knoop of Kenilworth. Mrs. Ridgeway will be here indefinitely. --_--0-- Miss Elizabeth Eckhart, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Percy Eckhart of Kenil- worth, visited the Arthur McIntoshes last week-end at their summer home Ri ll Frank R.
