The main office and factory of the company is at 1223 Addison street, Chicago. CARS COLLIDE; NO INJURIES Two cars, driven by I. Olshan, of 630 North Artesian avenue, Chicago, and Dorothy Doser, of 627 Roscoe street, Chicago, collided at the intersection of Sheridan road and North Private road late Sunday night. The cars were slightly damaged but no one was injured, according to Officer Carl Bishop, of the Winnetka police de- partment. Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Runyon of New York City announce the birth of a son recently. Mrs. Runyon was formerly Miss Dorothy M. Scharf of 509 Cherry street. ---- Mr. and Mrs. Austin Jenner, 1005 Hill road, returned last week from a ten days' motor trip in Canada. Helen Carney Announces Wedding Day, Attendants Miss Helen Carney, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Carney of 393 Monroe street, Glencoe, will become the bride of Earl McNeil of Fox Lake at 10 o'clock Saturday morning, August 4, in Sacred Heart church. The Rev. Father F. J. Haarth will perform the ceremony. Miss Carney has chosen Miss Jean- ette Keil for her maid of honor. The bridesmaids will be Mrs. Al Shaefer, sister of the bride, Miss Barbara Schinler of Glencoe, and Miss Helen Tilroe of Winnetka. The best man will be Francis Mc- Neil, and the ushers will be the three brothers of the bride, Joseph, James, and Thomas Carney. The flower girl will be Elaine Leis of Wilmette. Several showers and parties have been given during the past months for Miss Carney, and many more are be- ing planned for the next two weeks. Sunday night, a dinner will be given for the bridal party by Mrs. Albert E. Tilroe in her home at 978 Oak street, Winnetka. Judge Mary Bartelme, aunt of Ferdinand E. Barteleme of 1134 Sheri- dan road, was initiated recently as an honorary member of the Grand chap- ter of Kappa Beta Pi, legal sorority, at a dinner in the Hotel LaSalle on Wednesday, July 11. Miss Belle Simons, dean of the alumnae chapter, presided. ----. Mrs. Bert Kershaw of 325 Woodland avenue, and her sons, George and Robert, have gone to Michigan. George will return to Akron, Ohio, in another week where he is employed by the Goodyear Rubber company, but Mrs. Kershaw and Robert plan to stay on for some time. -- Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bersbach of Indian Hill road sailed recently from Quebec, Canada, on the Empress of France, for Europe. Their three daughters, Barbara, Helen, and Joan, accompanied them. They will return in September in time for school. = Mrs. Francis W. Duncan, 1040 Oak street, and her children, Francis, Jr., and Susan, left last week for a three months' visit with Mr. Duncan's rela- tives at Kendall and Cashton, Wis.
